What is life as we live in it…
In my childhood as I remember I would silently bow down to a deity on my way to school, shopping, travel and which continued when I grew up. Some time later an ambiguity cropped into my mind as I could not see any logic into it on the surface. Since our parents and elders have been saying that GOD is there so children started to believe in it and as they grew with it, they passed the same to their offsprings. But somewhere what was missing was the “Critical Thinking” as to what, why and how. Then as I matured, this confusion became very evident and I stopped this silent prostration, even though I used to visit temples here in India or Abroad when opportunity presented itself. So now I was neither an atheist nor a complete believer, vibrating between the two shades of beliefs.
My turning point came when one of the member in the family started to experience psychological issues since 2012 and for which it was advised to take medicines for the full term of life. Not to mention the associated side effects to the body and other issues to keep it short. I started to research on the net but nothing came out. This was just before the COVID epidemic. Just out of the blue I got an urge and a divine push to read a book which already sold more than 100 million copies worldwide written by Swami Yogananda Paramhansa by the name of Autobiography of a Yogi. After this book I got connected to Sri “M” who is one of the living “Divinity”. He is working for humanity through spiritual discourses and teaching “Kriya Yoga”. I read two of this famous books opening up volcano of questions in my mind. But compared to earlier, I started to understand a bit more than what I used to. Still felt to go further. That is when a video came to me literally as if pushed to by providence towards me. This time it was a spiritual lecture by Swami Siddhartha Auliya (Shishya of Acharya Rajnish/Osho). A small video in which he mentioned the name of Dr Michael Newton who has been practicing “Psychotherapy in the state of California, United State of America. I got hold of his three book. As soon as I completed the first book, things started to connect and most of my queries which was creating confusion in the mind, started to fade away. When I reached the second book, I was getting more than I bargained for. It started to clear my doubts which was in my mind like would in many other people. The main problem with our scriptures is it relies heavily on “hearsay”. Most of the knowledge was transferred virtually. There was no validation and recording process. This thing continued in our society and family setting too where children were supposed to imbibe what was told to them where they liked it or not. Some protested but majority just took it as it is. This is in my opinion the primary major reason why new generation in the name of modernization started to deviate and even neglect our age old wisdom and knowledge as mere “mythology” and imagination.
What really touched my heart was the simplicity and approach Dr Newton took, a leaf from the modern research methodology where you collect data from “disparate” sources which are not related to each other biologically nor geographically. When he found out that the information shared by these people (research subjects in the form of clients), were all same and precise up to the last detail, his astonishment
went leaps and bounds. He writes in his book that his life got completely changed and whatever he had learned had to be unlearned. Though the remarkable flip happened with this first client of his in his earlier career as a psychologist when she was 60+ year women with a life-long lingering chest pain, turned out that she was a “he” in 1st world war in French military and was bayonetted and killed. This “affect” and later “effect” which was constantly manifesting in her life in America which no modern medicine could discover and solve, eventually got relief. This single incident changes the life of Dr Newton starting his research journey. He was a orthodox Christian and that old faith belief system came tumbling down, accepting Hindu philosophy in its totality. His life eventually changed.
Sharing the findings from his research papers…
Soul is
•Sex agnostic (Can take birth as a girl OR a boy depending on Karmic requirements)
•Soul is indestructible
•Soul can and does experience senses ( e.g. vision, hearing, smell), but cannot feel “touch” sense.
•Soul can experience emotions like sadness, concern, love, responsibility etc
•Soul can pass through matter
•Soul is religion agnostic (Can and does take birth in any family irrespective of what religion they could belong to)
•Soul is non-racist ( In current birth soul is in India but in previous birth it could be in Africa)
•Soul to Soul can communicate non-verbally similar to telepathy.
Karmic Engagements
When Soul starts for re-incarnation either on earth or any other planets in the “universe” it does not come fully in its form (meaning, It will create replicas of itself and only bring e.g. 30%-50% of its energies along with it. Rest it will stay at the spirit world. The more complex the Karmic assignment, the more energy is required. After completing the physical life, when the soul goes back it goes through purification and energizing process before it merges with its other part in the spirit world. Thus unifying whatever knowledge and attributes and experiences it has gained in the latest Karmic assignment.
Death
Have you realized that death is the most abrupt/sudden/careless when it comes to human body. It does not take leave, says good-bye to near and dear ones before it leaves the body. It just does not care. Think about it.
Human Body
Its the finest exoskeleton divinity has created. It serves as the “Test Rig” (This concept from Computers and Software testing parlance. People from IT industry will understand). The purpose of the test rig is to put the Soul (Software) to different paces and scenarios of life to make it as perfect as possible in a life-time. When the Soul goes through many such life-time it attains “ATMAN” or “Perfection” and ready to be “Merged” into the Divine!!!. After the Soul leaves the body its value is of that of a “garbage” in a garbage bin. Think about it.
Achievements what Soul should strive for…
As we see around, people do what not to gratify their senses and emotions, you name it, Kill, abduct, force, burgle, manipulate, instill fear etc. Amass wealth beyond their life-time, only to be used and consumed by somebody else.
When Soul leaves the what it takes along with it will boggle your mind…
•Love
•Affection
•Experience
•Donate
•Physical Help, Save
•Detachment
•Compassion
•Devotion to duty
•Awareness
•Selflessness
•TRUTHFULLNESS
•Knowledge
What Soul must avoid at all cost…
•Ego, Ego-centric behaviour
•Anger
•Deceit
•Back Stabbing
•Work with only profit in mind
•Hypocrisy
•Violence, Cruelty to other beings
•Lack of awareness and self-realization
•Attachment to sensuality, material world, excessive money etc
•Lack of compassion
•Exploitation
